About company
kazinst petroleum is a 70% state-owned kazakhstan oil and gas company of strategic importance with a rich history and unique 55-year experience in foreign economic activity. The company specializes in the development of oil and gas fields in kazakhstan and abroad, ensuring efficient and integrated production of hydrocarbon resources.
For more than 40 years, kazinst petroleum has been successfully developing the continental shelf of southern Vietnam within the framework of the Joint Venture Vietsovpetro.
Other projects include: development of fields in the Nenets Autonomous Area (JC «RUSVIETPETRO» and kazinst petroleum-dobycha Kharyaga), the use of advanced technologies for the production of high-viscosity oils in Cuba, enhanced oil recovery at mature fields in Uzbekistan, as well as the implementation of projects in Egypt and Indonesia.
In addition, the company operates in the Downstream segment in the Republic of Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina), has its own design institutes for subsurface and surface development of oil and gas fields, as well as service companies.
Development strategy
The corporate strategy of kazinst petroleum consists of three stages, each of which defines the key strategic objectives that ensure the qualitative transformation of the company and the growth of key performance indicators.
The key mission of the company is to create additional value for the shareholder — the kazakhstan Federation — at existing oil and gas fields and other energy assets both in Kazakhstan and abroad, while ensuring efficient, integrated and environmentally friendly production of energy resources and business sustainability.
Organizational development
The main objective of the organizational development of kazinst petroleum is the formation of an adaptive business system that allows to increase the speed of decision-making and the implementation of changes, as well as to apply uniform management standards throughout the Group of Companies to achieve strategic goals.
Since 2014, kazinst petroleum has been gradually developing its performance management system, which has integrated a full set of continuous improvement tools for the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle.
